Before the spirit gates where opened once again an inventor left steam city to start working on a invention that could deal with the growing darkness in the south. In his isolation he created mechas. shortly after making his strongest one the inventions turned on him and killed him. The mecha-ogre was created to be the main creature for the force to protect the spirit world and thus is the most common one out of the original mechas. They have the least amount of artificial intelligence out of the mechas created by the invitor and tend to attack whoever they think is the strongest
