Crafting Components
All creatures drop Crafting Components when they are slain. The elements and Rank of the creature determines the Components dropped. A creature drops 1 random Component for each of its elemental types. Creatures of higher Rank drop more Components; 1 / type / Rank. Additional Components can be harvested by use of the Survival Skill.
Recipes and Blueprints

Rare Components
Rare Components are difficult to find but are a crafting wild card. One Rare Component can take the place of many other components in a Recipe or Blueprint based on the element. For example, the Rare Component Ancient Mechanism can used in place of any type of Component of the elements Metal, Rust, Steam, Forge, and Spark. Rare Components are usually obtained by succeeding difficult Survival Skill rolls when harvesting extra Components from creatures. They are sometimes available for purchase in shops at varying prices.
