Resources
Every character has 4 Resources; Health, Stamina, Chakra, and Blood Points.
Health
A character's Health is a measure of their vitality. As long as a character has Health they are able to spend Action Points. A characters Health is lowered by taking Damage. Health can be replenished by healing Jutsu, Expendable Items, or Potions. Health is also restored by resting at 10 X the character's END. Upon reaching 0 Health you fall Unconscious. Calculation Health is calculated using a character's physical Abilities with their own multipliers and a Ninja Rank Health Bonus. STR X3 + DEX X3 + SPD X3 + END X10 Stamina
A character's Stamina is a measure of their physical energy. As long as a character has Stamina they are able to spend it on Jutsu that rely on STM. STM is lowered by the character spending their pool on Jutsu or by unfriendly Jutsu depleting it. Stamina can be replenished by special Jutsu, Expendable Items, or Potions. Stamina is also restored by resting for 6 hours at 10 X the character's END Rank. Upon reaching 0 Stamina, a character enters Stamina Depletion. If a Jutsu is being performed that would bring that character's STM to or below 0, the Jutsu is resolved as usual before the character enters Depletion. Calculation Stamina is calculated using a character's physical Abilities with their own multipliers. Chakra
A character's Chakra is a measure of their spiritual energy. As long as a character has Chakra they are able to spend it on Jutsu that rely on CHK. CHK is lowered by the character spending their pool on Jutsu or by unfriendly Jutsu depleting it. Chakra can be replenished by special Jutsu, Expendable Items, or Potions. Chakra is also restored by resting for 6 hours at 10 X the character's CHI Rank. Upon reaching 0 Chakra, a character enters Chakra Depletion. Calculation Chakra is calculated using a character's mental Abilities with their own multipliers. Any character with at least 3 Ranks in Bloodjutsu has Blood Points or (BP) equal to their Bloodjutsu Rank. Every character's Bloodjutsu is different and follows custom rules set by the GM. in most cases, a BP is spent along with 1 AP to manifest one of a character's Bloodjutsu effects. In other situations a charcter's BP is spent automatically when specific conditions are met. Once a character's BP reaches 0 they can no longer manifest their Bloodjutsu. Depleted Resource Conditions
Unconscious
In this state a character can not act or interpret their surroundings. They will wake up in a few minutes or as the GM sees fit with the depleted resource at 1. If the character is healed by another character or effect, they can stabilize and bring the resource to 1 immediately. If the characters resource dropped below 10x their END for health, or 5x their END or CHI for STM and CHK, they have a chance of death. Each round a character is unconscious in critical depletion, they roll 1d20. a result of 1-4 is death. They continue making these rolls each round until they are helped or they pass 3 times in which case they will recover normally in a few minutes.
Depletion
In this state, a character may continue to function normally. If a character spends an amount of Chakra or Stamina that would bring them to 0 or lower they must make a Will Power (CHK) or Endure (STM) Skill roll (DC Resource amount below 0) to remain conscious. If the character fails, the Jutsu is resolved as usual before they fall unconscious. Passing the roll lowers the character's CHI (CHK) or END (STM) by 1 Rank. The character may continue to spend resources below 0 but they must continue to make Will Power or Endure rolls and their Ability continues to fall. If a character's CHI or END reaches 0, they fall unconscious.
Dead (1st time)
Once a character is dead their invisible spirit hangs around their body for a few minutes before being drawn to the Spirit Realm or the Abyss. There, the character's Chakra is manifested into a semi physical form that only exists in that realm. There they live out the rest of their lifespan as usual. If the character's life on Terra or Kagami caused great war, plague, famine, or death, they are sent to one of the Apocalyptic Islands of the Abyss where their soul is hunted by its native beings. It is possible through special Jutsu for a character to reclaim their physical form. If so, they are free to travel the planes again.
Dead (2nd time)
No one really knows for sure what happens if a character are reduced to 0 Chakra in the spirit world or is made a new body and dies again. Either way the spirit leaves the body but its destination is unknown.
Resource Depletion Quick Guide
A character remains conscious until any of these conditions are met.
- 0 HP - Unconscious

Resource Regeneration and Resting
While you rest, your Health, Stamina, Chakra, and Abilities are restored at different rates. To Rest a character must sleep or meditate for at least 6 hours. This 6 hours can be broken up but not by more than 2 hours. Going 24 hours without Resting results in a character becoming Exhausted. An exhausted character takes an accumulative -1 penalty to their END and CHI Abilities until they Rest.
Restoring Health and Stamina
A character's Health and Stamina are restored from a 6 hour Rest at 10X their Endurance Rank.
Restoring Chakra
A character's Chakra is restored from 6 hours of Rest at 10X their Chi Rank.
Restoring Ability and Jutsu Ranks
Abilities and Jutsu Ranks that have been lowered are restored at 1 point each / Rest until full.
Exhaustion
For every 24 hours a character does not Rest for at least 6 hours, their Endurance and Chi are lowered by 1 rank. Resting restores these Abilities as usual.
